UPDATE: Oklahoma State Department of Education announced they are applying for 4 waivers that will support schools and communities to provide school meals to children in areas experiencing school closures in response to COVID-19. Thank you Oklahoma State Department of Education and Superintendent Joy Hofmeister for your leadership in ensuring OK students are supported if schools close due to COVID-19. State Supt. Joy Hofmeister: “We are removing barriers that would prevent school districts from making decisions that would be in the best interest of their students and their well being.
