Student success, not just soccer, depends on goals
Soccer has been in the news lately, as the U.S. Women’s team won the World Cup. All the soccer talk has us thinking about goals, and the role they play in success on the field and in the classroom.
These schools used the Alpha Plus Model of School Improvement in 2017-18 and received an A or B on the Oklahoma School Report Cards for 2018. Congratulations to the students, educators, administrators and board members of these schools!

Last week, parents and teachers across our state received initial test scores from the Oklahoma School Testing Program (OSTP). OSTP scores are the end result of months of class work designed to improve student skills in the areas of Math, Reading and Science.
These tests are meant to serve as a guide for schools and parents whose ultimate goal is to support career and college readiness. The results can provide a roadmap for student success.
