TEACH to Mastery
Alpha Plus helps schools teach OAS objectives with confidence using standards-aligned curriculum and tools:
- Success with OAS Workbooks (Math: Grades K–8, ELA: Grades 1–8 + Phonics)
- Suggested Pacing Calendar customized to each subject and grade
- Objective Accountability Graph to monitor teaching pace and student mastery in real time
Focus: Teach every tested objective before state assessments in April
ASSESS What Was Taught
Frequent assessments are used to identify student learning gaps and monitor growth:
- Summative Assessments (Baseline, Midyear, Spring)
- Formative Quizzes after each lesson (5 questions per OAS objective)
- Simulated Core Curriculum Tests (SCCTs) aligned with Oklahoma state test item specs
- Standard-Based Report Cards auto-generated from real-time data
Assessments can be taken online or on paper, with immediate feedback available for teachers
REMEDIATE Non-Mastered Objectives
Teachers use data to pinpoint struggling students and adjust instruction:
- Growth and proficiency reports at the student, class, and school level
- “Standards at Risk” Reports for targeted small-group interventions
- Objective Accountability Graph updated after each formative quiz
Benchmark and quiz data help guide reteaching and intervention strategies
